How Math Pals handles parent account details, learner profiles, learning progress, Innov8 AI Intelligence hint requests, analytics, cookies and subscription information.

Who handles your information
Math Pals is operated by Innov8Tech. This policy explains the app’s information handling, separately from the Innov8Tech business website’s enquiry notice.
Accounts, learners and learning records
Google sign-in provides an account identifier, name, email address and profile picture. We use these to manage your parent account. Learner profiles include the name, age and avatar you provide, the selected learner, and progress such as XP, level, streaks and badges. Please use a nickname and do not enter sensitive personal information.
When you complete a lesson, we process submitted answers and save results including the learner, course and lesson, score, accuracy, time taken, earned XP and completion time. These records support progress reports and account synchronisation. Guest practice does not provide the same saved-account progress.
Innov8 AI Intelligence hints and narration
When you request an Innov8 AI Intelligence hint, we send the learner’s profile name and age, the problem, answer options and request to the Innov8 AI Intelligence service. Generated practice uses the learner’s age and selected topic, theme and requested question count. Do not include private or sensitive details in requests. These features are not required to read the public guides.
Narration uses available recorded audio or your browser’s speech service. Browser voices may use a device or a remote service; we do not promise that speech processing stays on your device. The app does not need a microphone recording to read a prompt aloud.
Analytics, security and browser storage
When configured and supported by your browser, the app records usage analytics automatically: page visits and events such as sign-in and lesson completion, and session usage such as clicks, scrolls and page behaviour used to produce heatmaps and session recordings. These features can use cookies and browser identifiers, and providers process this information on our behalf. Math Pals does not currently provide an in-app analytics consent switch.
Your sign-in session and some app state are kept in browser storage, along with cached public course data and a recovery marker used when reloading an updated app. Clearing site data can remove local state but does not delete cloud records or cancel a subscription.
Requests are protected against abuse, and providers process technical request information to deliver and secure the service.
Retention, access and deletion requests
Saved account and learning records do not automatically expire on a fixed schedule in the app. The company website’s 12-month enquiry period does not apply to Math Pals learning records. Contact us to request access, correction or account deletion, or to ask about a particular record. We may need to verify that you control the parent account before acting.
Account deletion is handled by support, not a self-service button. Limited deletion/security records and records held by payment or other providers may remain; account deletion is not a promise that every provider record is erased. Signing out does not delete your account.
Questions or complaints
Email enquiries@innov8tech.solutions with “Math Pals privacy” and a description of your concern. We will review the request, seek any information needed to investigate and respond through the contact details you provide. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary information about a child.
If a concern remains unresolved, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner explains privacy complaint options. We update this page when our handling practices change.
