Choose a starting point, not a test
Math Pals offers themed arithmetic practice for ages 3–9. Age ranges help you browse; choose a lesson your child can approach comfortably and repeat it when they want another go.
Read a free course guide together before starting. It includes the skills, lesson outline and a worked example. You can read the guide without signing in; interactive play needs JavaScript.
From counting objects to mental arithmetic
These are practice activities, not a formal assessment or a promise of a particular learning outcome. They can sit alongside school learning and hands-on play.
Make room for thinking
Try a few questions together. Ask “How did you work that out?” and use fingers or everyday objects if that helps. Take a break when your child wants one; there is no need to finish a course in one sitting.
Hear It or Listen controls read supported prompts aloud. Innov8 AI Intelligence hints are requested separately and can make mistakes, including revealing an answer. Review them together rather than treating them as a teacher’s judgement.
Progress, profiles and paid access
Free courses do not require a subscription. Sign in with a parent’s Google account to save learner profiles and completed lesson results. The Parent Hub manages learners and subscriptions; Progress Reports show saved results. Scores, XP and badges describe activity in Math Pals, not a school grade.
The course overview shows free and Pro activities. Paid lessons require active Pro access when available. Check the current price and any trial conditions at checkout.
